Locations research

For my video, I only need two locations.


For the park location, in the first shot,  I am considering either a pathway on Parker's Piece, or a pathway on Jesus Green. Below is a video I shot in Parker's Piece simulating the type of shot I want to film for the initial shot.

Two locations I was also considering were Jesus Green and Midsummer Common.

These two paths are great, with one highlighted in red especially being what I personally have in mind given the foliage.

Given that I would need to film these while they are deserted, I either need to shoot there very early in the morning, or just after sunset. The blue hours, round about 5:30am are probably ideal as it's very likely to be deserted around then, more so than later in the evening.

I also want to consider shooting in a street, on street light, at 5pm, considering my actors might not want to wake up so early. A simple quiet street will do the job just fine.

It is only important to get the first shot of the person walking just right, but afterwards, it's fine if it's sunny or not as I'll be inverting the colours into black and green.

The interior shots will be in a bedroom and a living room.
