PARAMNESIA OPEN EXT. FOREST, DAYLIGHT Girl, Eve, runs across scene, pauses, looks back,and continues. Eve stops near a tree. Takes out her phone and dials a number and calls. We hear the ringing sound. It stops. EVE (PANICKING) Hello? Is this the police? I.. My friend has just been killed, he was in front of me! Help, oh god, please. Help! She looks around, on the phone, trying to hear what is being said, but moving around a bit, looking around. EVE It's my friend, it's Neil. I am calling to report it. My friend Neil has just been stabbed. CUT TO SHOT OF NEIL, LYING DEAD. POSSIBLE STAB WOUND, IS COVERED IN BLOOD. POOL OF BLOOD EMERGING FROM NEXT TO HIM. CUT BACK TO EVE. EVE I... I don't know... We were all together... but now he's dead. Blake, it was him, he was with us, now he's gone, he's disappeared. There's no weapon no, no. She pauses again, as if gathering something in her mind. While I wrote my plot to be some what location neutral, meaning that it can be adapted to wherever I am able to film, the location that I have in my mind within a woods. The tension and peace of the natural environment is beautiful, in my mind, for the feel that I want my show to have. I went location scouting and a nature reserve just near my house has proved to be a wonderful and visually dynamic location. I found it while browsing satellite images of the area surrounding my house. I set up a few shots, working with a friend as a model. The images below are colour adjusted to reflect what might be the colour space of the final project, as well being cropped into 16:9. Shallow depth of field shots like this would be great to introduce our main character, with a focus pull. An example of what the shot where Eve will be running through the woods will look like. Could possibly have a scene where Eve looks into the camera? I love the clash of the concrete ...

The mystical, haunting feel is the atmosphere I want to create for my forest. I like these reflections and distortion effects. They might be a bit too much in the end, so they will be done in post as I don't want to ruin any actual shots. These are some actual test shots I took on my proposed location.
